An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Entertainment Technical Operations Manager to join P&O Cruises Guest Experience team on a permanent basis based in Southampton
This primary role of this position will be to manage and support the entertainment technical operation, people and product. You are accountable for ensuring there is a planned and effective model in place to develop new product that will enhance the P&O Cruises guest’s onboard experience, while ensuring current product is maintained at the highest possible level. You will proactively manage operational technical issues and champion the safety of our crew, guests and performers.
You will lead, coach and support the fleet on board Production Managers to achieve quality requirements as the Shore side line manager, engaging teams to deliver on exceptional people development while embedding our service culture.
The ability to drive performance through our Entertainment Technical teams will be essential, therefore planning and execution will be key attributes. We are looking for a dynamic leader who is able to multi task, from operational hands on travel across the fleet, to deliver on major refit and in service projects.
You will bring extensive experience within a similar role within the cruise, live entertainment or broadcast industry. An Operational expert in production, sound, lighting and/or automation industry within live entertainment and experienced with dealing with 3rd parties. You will have strong people and stakeholder management/engagement skills which will play a key role in consistent service delivery and recovery.
