Recognised throughout the world for our elegance, style and service excellence, we have the opportunity for you to work on our iconic Cunard ships. We are looking for Assistant Bars Managers who are responsible for assisting the Bars Manager in managing the beverage department ensuring that the bars team are operating smoothly and efficiently and achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction. You will also play a key role in actively generating bar revenue by understanding the passenger profile of each cruise and organising promotions to increase revenue generation opportunities.

To join Cunard in this exceptional role you must have the following:

  • Previous leadership experience in a luxury venue 4/5* hotel 
  • WSET Level 2 in Spirits or NVQ II/III in Beverage Service or diploma / degree in Hotel / Hospitality Management or equivalent preferred or relevant industry experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of cocktails and spirits 
  • A sound understanding of stock control, budgets and scheduling within a busy bar environment
  • Capable of demonstrating outstanding Leadership and delegation skills including the ability to train and mentor a large team
  • The ability to demonstrate personal ownership of tasks and ensure completion to achieve required results.
  • Excellent written & verbal English with the ability to communicate confidently
