Company Information

Certas Energy is the leading independent distributor of fuels and lubricants in the UK. With a national network of over 130 depots, over 900 tankers, countrywide retail forecourts, and fuel cards usable at over 2,000 sites, it is our 2,500 hard working colleagues who keep our business moving each day.

Our employees play an essential and valued role in delivering billions of litres of high-quality fuel and associated services to homes and businesses all over the UK each year. We recruit sales people to promote our products, as well as drivers to deliver them to our customers. Also crucial to our business are our management teams, service engineers, logistics staff, and all of our staff in central functions.

The key to our success is our people. So at Certas we make sure our learning and development team nurture our talent and support colleagues with their aspirations and growth, through training initiatives such as our Inspire programme, our WOW training courses and apprenticeships. We also have a strong culture of safety and compliance principles, driven by our dedicated safety initiatives.

At Certas Energy we want to be at the forefront of embracing positive change. We do this by investing in global climate change projects that actively reduce the carbon in the atmosphere, such as offering all our domestic customers the opportunity to carbon offset their heating oil and by providing cleaner burning fuels that lower harmful emission.
