Works Supervisor

37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Based at our gorgeous dock-side offices with travel within Preston

£38,902.59 per annum



What will you be doing in this role?

This role sits within the Asset Management Team, whose overarching purpose is to ensure our tenants live in well-maintained and safe homes. The Asset Management Team are responsible for providing an excellent repairs and maintenance service that meets the needs of our tenant.

The Works Supervisor will have a strong focus on health and safety, improving efficiencies and productivity by supporting and developing our colleagues. You'll undertake inspections and surveys to properties, ensuring standards and regulatory requirements are fully met and prepare schedules and specifications of work to ensure that all homes achieve the Decent Homes Standard.


What we are looking for in you

You'll have previous experience of completing property surveys and scheduling work and a thorough understanding of health and safety practices in a maintenance / construction setting.


The main things:

  • You'll have the ability to use initiative to solve problems as they arise
  • You'll have a full driving licence and access to a car with business insurance
  • You'll have a good working knowledge of Decent Homes legislation
  • You'll have experience of working in a similar role, supervising trades people through to the completion of works
