Asset Management – Planner Administrator

29.6 hours per week, Monday – Thursday, based in Preston.

Salary up to £21524.77 pro rata (£17,219.82 actual)

What will you be doing in this role?

This is an excellent opportunity to join our busy, high performing Asset Management team. The team supports a wide range of services including our property repair and development teams, grounds maintenance and estates, and arranges CGA’s asbestos surveys, homecare surveys and energy performance certificates.  In this role, you'll plan and schedule all work activities, ensuring our systems are up to date and our teams' productivity is maximised. You'll also carry out a wide range of admin tasks to support the department.

​​​​​​​What we are looking for in you

We are looking for a proactive, determined and confident person to join our team.  You'll have a passion for great customer service, love 'organising' and will enjoy being busy and dealing with people. 

​​​​​​​The main things:

  • You'll be able to show us good IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, and be a quick learner to get to grips with our in-house scheduling software
  • You'll be planning multiple operatives' diaries so you'll need to be organised and work accurately and methodically
  • You'll have experience of working in a busy office environment, be a team player and be able to prioritise your own work effectively
  • You'll have great communication skills  - both written and verbal - and be able to deal with our customers and colleagues politely and tactfully face to face, by email and by phone
