This is an exciting opportunity to lead on the planning and delivery of communications for the Witness Service - a programme funded by the Ministry of Justice and delivered by Citizens Advice in courts and communities across England and Wales. 

You’ll have the opportunity to work across channels and lead on:

  • staff and volunteer engagement for the service, developing our communications approach 

  • overseeing and creating content for print and digital channels, including blogs and newsletters

  • the design and delivery of events, including our annual Witness Service events for volunteers and staff

  • supporting the management team to build our profile with stakeholders and the general public 

Reporting into a Senior Communications Officer we’re looking for someone who is excellent at:

  • communicating well across channels, including being a brilliant writer 

  • proactively identifying stories and confident in setting editorial direction

  • creating timely, reactive content and knowing when to deploy different tactics to engage internal and external audience 

  • working in a busy, proactive team
