Citizens Advice offers confidential advice online, over the phone, and in person, for free. Through our national network of charities, we give people the knowledge and the confidence they need to find their way forward – whoever they are, and whatever their problem.

We are seeking a skilled communicator who can drive the delivery of our strategic equality, diversity and inclusion goals.  You will provide operational oversight and work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior staff and volunteers, from across the service and beyond.

This is an exciting opportunity to help a well-known national charity to deliver on its strategic ambitions. As Citizens Advice, we are here for everyone, whoever they are and whatever their problem.  Equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) is at the heart of our Future of Advice strategic framework and we have set ourselves five challenging EDI goals through to 2022.

An experienced Project Manager with excellent organisational skills, you will be able to think creatively and identify solutions, influencing colleagues to bring about positive change for our clients.  You will have good knowledge and experience of developing plans in the arena of equality, diversity and inclusion.

We particularly welcome applications from disabled and Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) candidates as BAME and disabled people are currently under-represented throughout Citizens Advice. We are a member of the race equality campaign at Business in the Community, the Prince’s responsible business network and are committed to improving employment opportunities for ethnic minorities across the UK. We also welcome applications from, LGB and Trans and non binary candidates.

We have made a positive commitment to employing disabled people and guarantee to interview all disabled candidates who meet the minimum essential criteria for the role as set out in role profiles.
