What are we looking for?

We are recruiting a Lead Automation Pharmacy Technician to support the delivery of the Cleveland Clinic London (CCL) Medicines Optimisation mission of providing a safe, effective, high quality and efficient pharmaceutical care by optimising medicines safety and patient outcomes.

The Lead Automation Pharmacy Technician will lead on the operation, maintenance and training of the automation in order to provide safe, high quality, and effective Clinical, Operational and Production Pharmacy Services. The role will also support the development, implementation, maintenance and optimisation of the IT applications linked to automation.

With patient safety as our main priority, we have deployed cutting-edge technology and innovative processes to support a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week Pharmacy service.

We are operating a closed loop medicines management system including automated stock management to ensure timely and efficient supply of medicines to clinical areas.

The unique barcode medicines administration at the bedside and a fully integrated system for the electronic health records supports safe and effective prescribing, clinical screening and patient monitoring.

What we need from you:

  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Epic Willow certifications – Preference
  • Hospital Pharmacy experience
  • Swisslog Therapick use desirable
  • BD Pyxis implementation and use desirable
  • Epic Willow use, configuration and maintenance experience desirable
  • BBraun infusion pump or similar configuration and maintenance experience desirable
