We have a unique opportunity for a EPIC Team Leader to join our newly established technology team.
Job Profile Summary:
The Team Lead (TL) functions as the primary expert for the application and oversees the work activities of the build team. Working in conjunction with the Application Manager, the TL defines build objectives and manages configuration, build and installation of the application. The Team Lead (TL) will report to the Application Manager for Cleveland Clinic London and will be responsible for planning, structuring, and monitoring system implementation, as well as testing and change control procedures. The TL takes direction from, and collaborates with, the Application Manager on work priorities and manages the resolution of escalated issues.
The TL will serve as the primary support contact for their respective application as well as serve as a point of contact for various other applications within their assigned team. The TL will serve as a leader with overall responsibility for software analysis and design, application and system installation and implementation. Provides best solutions to identified needs, meeting operational and business objectives, technology capabilities, and human resource requirements. Maintains the ongoing service relationships between the IT department and its direct application customers, and is a liaison to other departments and entities. They will coordinate all issues that arise during the application implementation for their respective team and must be very knowledgeable of the organization's policies, procedures, and business operations. Provides after-hours support.
Partners with subject matter experts and other Electronic Health Record (EHR) Management to ensure build consistency and successful end to end patient centric workflow.
•Leads IT projects, including planning, obtaining customer input and projecting resource requirements.
•Reviews system requirements with customers and translates requirements into specific functions or deliverables.
•Provides support to team members as well as serving as the initial point of contact for their assigned team.
•Identifies and resolves complex issues. This includes identification of appropriate parties and potential solutions with minimal guidance.
•Works with all clinical, business and technical resources in a positive, supportive and collaborative team manner.
•Carry out complex analysis of process workflows, data collection and reporting requirements interpreting into design where necessary.
•Analyses flow chart processes and recommends ways to reduce steps and increase efficiency through use of technology.
•Plans, schedules and manages multiple projects requiring computer resources including project scheduling.
•Assist with planning and completion of projects on time and as designed.
•Consults directly with clinical and business users, and provides second-tier support to end users to assure reliable and system application availability and performance.
•Maintains awareness of latest developments in key areas of responsibility and brings forward opportunities that might benefit the organization.
•Actively coordinates and participates with future Epic upgrades - coordinating test plans, developing and conducting customer communications and training for assigned team.

•Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Computer Science, Health Sciences, Healthcare Admin or related field.
•Significant experience of working at a senior level in specialist area may offset the degree requirement.
•Currently certified on 1 or more EPIC application(s) within the area of focus:
Area - ClinDoc/Order Entry: EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation Certification or EpicCare Inpatient Procedure Orders Certification required.
Area – Pharmacy: Epic Willow Certification required.
Area – Ambulatory: EpicCare Ambulatory Certification or Epic MyChart required.
Area – Revenue Cycle: Epic Resolute Hospital Billing Certification or Epic Resolute Professional Billing or Epic Prelude Certification or Epic Cadence Certification required.
•Or EPIC Certified Proficient
•Minimum of 1 years of lead or supervisory experience with demonstrated experience in information system development.
•Experience with implementing and supporting a major system in a clinical or system analyst capacity.
•Epic implementation experience within the area of focus.
•Understanding of Epic modules, ancillary systems, and health system operations.
•Experience working with in an agile environment
•Has proven experience in application of project management and system development methodologies.
•Demonstrates a broad knowledge of business/scientific functions and related systems interfaces that can assist, Cleveland Clinic London (CCL) management in the operation and administration of divisions.
•Has experience of detailed enterprise reporting dashboards using recognised tools i.e. Tableau, EPIC, SAP Business Objects
•Has experience of mobile device roll out, building and leading device.
•Management skills must include strong written and verbal communication skills, negotiating skills and organizational skills.
•Works in a complex and unstructured multi-disciplinary environment, setting standards for administrating policies and demonstrates competency within change management.
•This position requires frequent sitting and use of telephone and personal computer.
•Frequent talking and listening when giving instructions and explanations is required.
•The position must be available after hours for support.
This role will be paying up to £75,000 depending on experience.
