The Role

You'll become part of a friendly team who support five individuals with learning and physical disabilities to live in their own shared home.  You'll provide invaluable support with all aspects of their daily living, including cooking, cleaning, finances, medication and personal care.  We'll also need you to be enthusiastic and creative supporting with their hobbies and interests too, these include arts & crafts, walking and swimming and going to various social events and activities once restrictions are lifted.  

About You

You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll give you all the training you'll need if you're successful.  We'll even put you through your SVQ qualification too!

All we’ll need you to bring is: -

  • A full driving license and access to your own vehicle due to the rural location
  • Honesty, reliability and trustworthiness
  • Good listening and communication skills
  • A caring attitude and approach
  • A positive approach to learning
  • Always seek to go above and beyond what's expected
  • An understanding of the importance of routines and guidelines
  • Confidence in the use of computers.

​​​​​​​Shift Patterns

As we're dedicated to providing the best support possible shift patterns usually fall into patterns of 0730-1600, 1200-2000, 1545-2130 and 1000-1000 hours.  The 1000-1000 hours shift would include a sleepover.
