Our Connect and Community Support teams are both recruiting for reliable, pro-active and motivated individuals to join our them across Galashiels, St Boswells and Kelso on a relief basis as Support Workers. Working on one of our relief contracts really gives you flexibility, you tell us when you're available and we'll look to give you shifts to fit. 

The Role

Our Connects team provide day support between 08:00-18:00 where we work with individuals to meet set outcomes from Arts & Crafts to swimming and life skills to supporting with physical exercise and personal care.

Community Support provide care within individuals homes and hours may be spread over a 24/7 period. As a member of our relief team, your main aim will be supporting the day to day personal needs of the individuals we support, including meal planning, cooking, housework, shopping and medication.  As they all enjoy an active social life within the local community, we would be looking for you to be enthusiastic about participating and supporting them with their hobbies and interests including going to the cinema, darts, pool, swimming and live music.

A full driving licence is preferred but this isn’t a deal breaker!

About You

​​​​​​​It would be great if you have experience but don’t worry if you don’t as we recruit on values and behaviours and will invest in you by giving you all the skills you'll need through our Training Academy.
