Corps Security is currently recruiting for a SIA Licenced Event Steward.

Job purpose: 

To provide security and support duties in a professional and courteous manner in line with both the client requirements and Corps Security’s policies and procedures.

Role requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
  • Friendly, approachable and professional manner.
  • NVQ L2 /  L3 Spectator Safety – desirable
  • Previous experience of Event Stewarding- desirable
  • SIA Licence – preferred
  • 5 year checkable work/career history. All applicants will be vetted in line with industry standards – BS7858.

Duties include:

  • As an Event Steward team member you be assisting by, but not limited to
    • Directing visitors around the venues
    • Ticket checking
    • Crowd monitoring / general stewarding
    • Adhere to health & safety, and fire procedures

This role is hands on and will require involvement in issues on an hourly/daily basis.
