We are looking to recruit a Carpenter to join our Property Services team on a permanent basis. In this role you will carry out general repairs, maintenance, and improvement, in both occupied and unoccupied domestic properties. Tasks will generally be of a carpentry nature, however at times work of associated trades will be necessary.
To be successful you will have a complete understanding of domestic installations and experience of undertaking repair and maintenance of residential properties. A City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent trade qualification in Carpentry, or equivalent level of competence obtained from on-the-job experience is essential.
You will be customer focused with excellent communication skills and able to form positive working relationships with customers and colleagues. A basic level of IT skills is important as the use of mobile devices is routine, and a driving licence is essential. You will be required to participate in our standby rota, for which extra payment is made.
