Sedgley House is a male mental health rehabilitation service providing full multidisciplinary inputs including occupational therapy, psychology, psychiatry and vocational training. Patient-centred care plans are devised to match individual’s needs. When the time is right, service users can move to Sedgley Lodge, our step-down service which gives them increased independence, and a more outward-looking community-based programme.
 

In this role you’ll:

 
• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all our patients
• Work in the hospital area, providing guidance and encouragement to patients through physical and emotional support
• Maintain a safe, clean and enjoyable environment to live and work in
• Assist patients with their medical and welfare needs and report as required
• Safeguard patients
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.

• Flexibility to work various shift patterns including days, nights & weekends.
