Upper KS2 teacher – MPS
Falconer’s Hill Academy
Full time, fixed term until 31st December 2019
Rated ‘Good’ across all categories in 2017, Falconer’s Hill Academy is a busy, happy primary school with fantastic pupils and a strong reputation in our community. Located in the attractive market town of Daventry, with good connections to the M1, Northampton, Milton Keynes and Rugby, we make great use of our extensive outside space. We’ve got big ambitions, and we want to appoint an excellent upper KS2 teacher who can help us realise our exceptional potential.
You’ll take pride in sharing your palpable enthusiasm for learning – stimulating and inspiring the children you teach so that you’re the reason they look forward to coming to school. Able to lead your classroom with a combination of high expectations and good-humoured mutual respect, strengths in music or English would be a definite advantage.
We want to hear from purposeful, forward-thinking teachers, able to articulate what you’re doing, why it’s the right professional choice, and how you’re helping children improve their learning. Methodical and precise, you’ll know what ‘excellence’ looks like and what to do to achieve it. Candidates will have good experience of upper KS2, and will relish the hard work that goes into year 6, as well as the rewards at the end of it!
The professional rewards are compelling. As part of a well-established and well-respected multi-academy trust, you’ll benefit from a rare scale and scope of opportunity. There’s a concrete and well-trodden career path into senior leadership, and personalised professional development is a fundamental part of life at the academy. It’s an attractive opportunity to pursue your professional interests, to have your voice heard, and to help shape the successful future of a really lovely school.
David Gooda at Navigate NDC is supporting this appointment. If you would like to arrange an informal conversation or a visit to the school, please call 01625 800862 or email firstname.lastname@example.org Closing date: 1 December.
