Are you a friendly, professional and customer focused person? We are looking for someone who will strive to ensure that the developments are maintained to Encore’s high standard, you will form excellent working relationships with residents, contractors and the client to ensure positive outcomes for all involved.

What you’ll do
Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Communication with residents ensuring they are directed to the correct route to resolve issues
  • Proactively and effectively Liaise with the Client community development team to provide feedback to assist with issue resolution
  • Have the ability to interpret management maps/plans to understand the extent of the development and the managed areas
  • Understand the landscape management document and liaise with the landscape contractor to understand the working plan (tasks/frequencies) and ensure that tasks are completed to the correct standards
  • Build a good working relationship with all relevant parties i.e. residents, contractors, development employees and Encore team members
  • Be the ‘eyes and ears’ of the development, recording evidence as required to feedback to the Client and estate manager at meetings (e.g. proactive taking of photos to log proof of damage, keep a log of issues such as construction parking etc.)
  • Ability to conduct basic gardening tasks (if required and/or the sub-contractor has missed anything)
  • Litter pick site and keep any relevant bin stores clean and tidy – including dog waste bins.
  • General cleaning duties including but not limited to – cleaning communal areas, windows and glass, furniture and kickplates, cleaning and replacement of lightbulbs
  • Check the children’s play area for cleanliness, reporting any damage seen
  • Replace communal light bulbs
  • Carry out routine emergency light and alarm tests (if applicable and after training)
  • Pressure wash paths and decking when required
  • Report to Facilities Supervisor and Estate Manager faults and additional works

What you’ll bring

  • Ability to build relationships with a variety of different people to ensure the best possible outcomes for all parties involved (i.e. residents and clients)

  • Ability to be flexible and a willingness to learn
  • Experience of cleaning, gardening, minor maintenance and managing of small teams is essential
  • A professional, pro-active and positive attitude
  • Full ‘clean’ driving licence (this is essential as travel between the 2 sites is expected)
  • Competent in the use of all IT including all Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to work between Monday and Friday, but flexible to work additional hours when necessary
  • Legally able to work in the UK​​​​​​​


  • IWFM L3 Facilities Management or equivalent (desirable)
  • IOSH Managing Safely (desirable)
