A Fantastic Opportunity: Innovation Project Manager
To work alongside internal and external partners to manage delivery of a ground-breaking innovation projects that form part of SP Electricity North West’s NIA and SIF portfolio. They will be responsible for technical aspects of project delivery, including technical specifications, requirements, production of deliverables and working closely alongside the programme manager and external project partners. They will be expected to comply with and continue to support the evolution of Innovation project, programme and associated SP ENW policies, processes and documentation.
What we're looking for:
- Experienced in developing technical requirements and specifications for large innovation projects
- Experience working with IT colleagues in developing active network systems
- Experience and understanding of energy system transition and technical enablers
- Knowledge of operational and control systems for HV electricity networks
- Experience with HV network modelling
- Confidently and proficiently influence internal & external parties
- Able to work on own initiative
- Knowledge of the RIIO regulatory framework as it applies to innovation
- Knowledge and experience of working within the UK electricity distribution sector
- Ability to analyse and present data
- A good working knowledge of excel and other office programs
