We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Connections Assistant to join our Business Connections team, on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. The role can be based in either our Preston or Carlisle offices. 

THE ROLE

This role will provide high quality support to the regional Business Connections Team, ensuring that all Connections Design and Delivery needs are processed and delivered in accordance with Customer requirements, Regulatory and Electricity North West’s standards of service.

The successful candidate will be the point of contact for both internal and external enquiries, providing accurate responses and offering advice to customers on the departments work when required.

As Connections Assistant it will be your responsibility to liaise with customers and external delivery partners monitoring projects ensuring work is delivered as planned and on time and that regular contact is maintained with all parties throughout.

We are looking for a driven and motivated individual that will seek opportunities to improve Customer Service and build relationships with customers.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR         

  • GCSE level qualifications grades A-C or levels 4-9 including Maths, English Language and Science;
  • An NVQ Customer Service level 3 qualification or equivalent (desirable);
  • Proven experience working in a customer service environment;
  • An understanding of, or be prepared to learn, Connections Guaranteed Standards of Performance;
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365;
  • A working knowledge of SAP (desirable);
  • An excellent written and verbal communicator together with excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team;
  • Great organisation with the ability to prioritise your own workload;
  • Proven ability to achieve deadlines in order to meet individual and team set targets whilst meeting the demands of different stakeholders;
  • A flexible and adaptable approach
