Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Operations Accountant to join the Frontier team, based at Witham St Hughs, on a permanent, full-time basis. We are open to hybrid options for this role, with the right candidate working a minimum of 3 days on-site with the remaining days from home.
You will be responsible for the accounting, reporting and financial control of business divisions within Frontier alongside overseeing the company’s capex process and providing financial support to the department and operational management

About You
- Qualified Accountant with a good level of working experience in accounting is essential
- Experience in an operational environment is desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel
- Possess an assured and professional manner, with good interpersonal skills
- Able to build strong working relationships with a varied level of management across the business
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to direct and manage others to achieve personal and business objectives
- Adaptable to the demands of a growing, diverse business
- Self-motivated and capable of working on own initiative

Your Role
As a Senior Operations Accountant your role will involve:
- Being responsible for accounting, reporting and financial control of product lines within the business (to include monthly P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, annual budget and forecasting processes plus any ad hoc product line support requirements)
- Actively contributing to the development of the group’s capex processes and controls
- Signing off on group wide capex requests
- Being responsible for accounting and reporting of depreciation and capex spend (to include annual budget and forecasting)
- Contributing to the maintenance of the fixed asset register (to include disposals, additions & asset validation)
- Developing post-project evaluations of significant Capex spend
- Actively contributing to the development of the department by identifying and implementing improved processes or controls
- Providing support to business divisions by offering ‘value added’ innovative solutions to support continual changing business needs
- Providing Support to the finance department by offering ‘value added’ input to ongoing department development
- General support to financial administration functions, to include Invoice and payment approvals
