As the GRAHAM business continues to grow and develop we are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Quantity Surveyor. The successful candidate will work at the Barrow in Furness project providing support to our existing Site Management Team while studying on a day release basis.
As the GRAHAM business continues to grow and develop we are looking for enthusiastic individuals based in North West England, London and the South East for the role of an Apprentice Site Engineer. The successful candidate will be based at one of our projects across our Civil Engineering business unit providing support to our existing Site Management.
Successful candidates will study on a block release basis at college studying for a HNC in Civil Engineering over a two year period. In addition they will work towards a vocational qualification to compliment experience being gained on site.
As a large main Contractor with coverage across the UK a feature of the role will be to work on projects that will mean an element of staying away from home in temporary accommodation (provided by the company) to suit the business needs. This will be a requirement for block release at college also. The role may also involve working unsociable hours and the candidate should be flexible on working hours and arrangements.

We are looking for an experienced Submissions Manager to lead the delivery of PQQ submissions documentation across our Construction market sectors, primarily for applications for inclusion on restricted tender lists, generally as part of the OJEU procurement process but also supporting Business Development activities in the region including producing early client engagement marketing material and organising events.
The role will involve working as a member of the region’s pre-construction team and the overall coordination of all those who input into such submissions, including design team, in-house personnel and supply chain, ensuring all work productively towards high-quality submissions to our Clients.
To assist the Business Development Manager in the day to day researching and management of the pipeline of opportunities the candidate should have a good level of knowledge of construction practices and pre-construction procurement process, both in the public and private sector.
One of the key skills of the Submissions Manager will be the effective coordination of all those who input into the submission, and therefore the candidate must be a highly organised individual who can programme the work of others. They must also be able to work under the pressure of submission deadlines.
