With over £55 million being invested into IT, we have recognised the need to expand our Service Transition Management team, to work in parallel with Project/Programme Managers to deliver the diverse, innovative and varied projects here at Hermes Head Office in Leeds.
Acting as an ambassador for IT Services, you will forge strong relationships across the Business and with live support teams to ensure what is being delivered is fit for purpose and has a robust support structure in place for go-live.
You will ideally have an understanding of the service elements of a contract and be able to amend and negotiate on the service elements to ensure the contract meets the requirements for the service being delivered. You will work in liaison with Procurement/Supplier Management and Legal.
We need someone who does not rely on “tick lists” but is innovative with drive and is able to influence based upon their wide understanding of service principles. The role is very varied and busy, but you will be working in a friendly culture where people are passionate about what they do.

Ideal Candidate
- Experience of working with internal developers and 3rd party vendors in delivering IT change
- Proactive and innovative in your approach and comfortable with ambiguity and challenges
- Strong knowledge of the various ITIL Service disciplines and an understanding of how these work in a business IT function
- Excellent collaboration and influencing skills with multiple stakeholders/colleagues from the lowest to the highest grade and within multiple areas of the business that vary from one project to another.
- Experience of delivering in an agile environment is desirable, but not essential.
- Experience of Services hosted in a cloud environment is desirable, but not essential.
