We are recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join the change/project delivery team to be based at our Head Office in Morley, South Leeds. 
 
In the role you will be responsible for delivering IT/Business Programmes and projects to timescale, quality and budget and you will be given a level of freedom to do so. 2019 is looking great, with £55million worth of IT projects planned, working on the very latest technology. The role will give you the opportunity to make a real difference within the Hermes business delivering real tangible benefits to our business. 
 
You will also have full governance and management of core project documentation as per the current Change Framework, including; plans, RAIDS, budgets, change requests, implementation and service handover.
 
Some of the other key responsibilities for the role include:
 
Managing programme & project uncertainty and understanding the impacts of this on the programme/project and change deployment
Building relationships with senior stakeholders and managing their expectations within all levels of the business
Influencing and challenging the business to shape business cases that drive necessary growth plans and benefits; support business with the development of benefits realization plans 
 
We are looking for someone who is a self-starter who takes ownership, responsibility and accountability for the delivery of their projects and someone who will thrive in a fast-paced and a rapidly growing business.
 
Experience in managing several projects simultaneously and in line with budget is essential as well as a proven track record of successful delivery. 
 
Other skills/experience required for the role are:
 
A professional accreditation in project management 
Advanced knowledge of programme/project planning tools, techniques and methodologies
An understanding of business risk management and being able to define risk frameworks
Ability to demonstrate a ‘trusted advisor’ status with senior and executive stakeholders
