We are seeking a qualified and experienced Gas Services Engineer to join our growing Maintenance Team. This role is responsible for providing a high quality, customer focused gas installation, maintenance and associated repairs service for both the organisation’s own properties and external customers. The key duties include carrying out gas central heating installations, full fitting programmes of boilers, radiators and all ancillary components. To carryout out landlord gas safety inspections and certifications as required and to ensure that certifications are completed within strict timescales. To ensure that all gas work are carried out in accordance with the Gas Safety Regulations and operational procedures.
The successful candidate must hold a domestic Nationally Accredited Certification Scheme (ACS) in gas fitting and an unvented hot water certificate. You must have a good knowledge of gas regulations and working practices along with experience in health & safety legislation and procedures. It is also essential that you are competent in fault finding and rectification on varied heating systems and you have the multi-skills knowledge and competency to effectively co-ordinate a linked programme of works.
You will be required to participate in our out of hours work to fulfil the duty rotas as required. You must also hold a valid UK driving licence.
