We’re looking for an Internal Account Manager to join our exciting HSS: The Hire Service Company Sales Team, you’ll be based within our Derby Location where you’ll be championing a blend of client relationship management and new business sales. This role offers plenty of opportunity for growth and development, giving you the chance to gain invaluable insights and achieve your full potential.

Monday to Friday 7:30am until 5pm and alternating Saturdays 8am until 1pm

The Role of an Internal Account Manager

  • You will proactively reach out to customers each day with the aim of building strong, long-lasting relationships and driving sales growth.
  • You'll re-engage with lapsed customers and nurture accounts with low spend, identifying opportunities to grow revenue by spotting trends, expanding into new areas, or introducing relevant products and services.
  • You will collaborate closely with Sales Directors and Branch Directors to ensure a smooth handover of accounts, converting opportunities and making sure transactions are completed efficiently.
  • You need to confidently cross-sell and upsell by having a strong understanding of our full product and service offering, introducing customers to new solutions and helping them get the most out of what we provide.
  • You will consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs, including daily call activity (15 quality prospecting calls and 10 quality customer calls), landing new accounts, reactivating lapsed customers, arranging meetings, and increasing revenue.

To succeed you’ll need

  • A strong track record in sales role with a clear ability to consistently hit and exceed targets.
  • Confident communicator both over the phone and in writing, able to build rapport and engage customers effectively.
  • Resilient and proactive with a positive attitude and a drive to succeed.
  • Self-starter who’s results focused and able to think on their feet when solving problems.
  • Comfortable working independently and just as confident collaborating with others to get the job done.
  • Previous experience working in outbound calling or customer focused roles would be an advantage.
