An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Maybush Medical Practice in Wakefield as a Health Care Assistant.  The successful candidate will support the practice in delivering excellent care to it’s patients. The role details are:

  • Annual salary of up to £17,500 pro rata
  • NHS Pension
  • 25 hours per week – days negotiable
  • 23 days annual leave + bank holidays
  • Role available 12/06/2017
  • Up to 50 hours free CPD which can be achieved online via Skills4Health

Maybush Medical Centre is a busy practice serving over 9,000 patients with a clinical mix of GPs, ANPs, a pharmacist, nurses and HCAs.  It also benefits from the Trinity Care nurse triage service who sign post patients to the most appropriate clinician. The practice uses the SystmOne clinical system and experience would be an advantage but full training will be given.

You’ll be a motivated team-player with a passion for delivering excellent patient care. You should ideally have previous HCA experience in primary care.  As a key member of the team you will provide a full range of support to the clinical team. Whatever stage you’re at in your nursing career, we’ll provide you with the high quality support you need to continue developing your skills, spend quality time with your patients and make a real difference to people’s lives whilst enjoying job satisfaction. Our clinicians benefit from up to 50 hours free CPD (achieved online via Skills For Health) to assist with your mandatory training requirements.
