If you qualified as a General Practitioner within Europe or you trained in the UK and are looking to return to General Practice following 2+years outside of the NHS, we can support you through the Induction & Refresher Scheme and offer you a permanent opportunity within our expanding group of practices. Competitive package

  • Salary of £38,000 per annum during your 6-month supervised placement (plus £3500 per month bursary from the NHS) increasing to salary of up to £83,000 per annum salary thereafter. We are the ONLY organisation paying a salary during the placement.
  • Medical Indemnity contributions during and after your supervised placement (up to £500 per month)

Support throughout the Induction and Refresher Scheme

  • Assistance with GMC Registration
  • Guidance regarding the IELTS and/or OET English language tests
  • A 2-day Induction & Refresher preparation course, fully funded by IMH   
  • Support for your MCQ exam
  • Opportunity to observe in an IMH practice for a week prior to undertaking Simulated Surgery
  • Support for your Simulated Surgery Assessment
  • Guidance regarding your NHS registration process
  • Training placement with a Clinical Supervisor
  • Assistance with travel to and from the UK during the scheme
  • Full 2-week clinical induction
  • Committed Clinical Supervisor in practice

  

Relocation assistance

  • Relocation package available  (up to £5000)
  • Assistance with short and long term accommodation where required
  • Guidance regarding UK bank accounts
  • Guidance regarding taxation and National Insurance numbers
