We’re looking for a Band 8b Matron to join our team in the Hospitals Directorate.

Based at Noble’s Hospital, you will form part of our leadership team, taking responsibility for the strategic development of nursing, quality and clinical practice within one of our large care groups (approx. 90 beds and out-patient services).

This is a varied role where you can really develop and stretch your leadership skills. You’ll contribute to our strategic direction, working with us to ensure high quality patient led services are being developed and delivered.

You’ll also be joining us at a really exciting time, as we’ve recently developed our island wide Nursing and Midwifery framework (developed from feedback from over 130 of the islands nurses and midwives), and you’ll take a leading role in implementing the actions derived from this framework.

You’ll have a strong support network within the Hospitals Directorate, and you’ll be able to build and maintain the links and connections we have with various NHS trusts and networks in the UK.
