Join our team as a Headteacher at Ramsey Grammar School!

A highly motivated, inspirational and energetic school leader is required with the vision to lead this popular 11-18 comprehensive school into the future. The new Headteacher will need to build on present strengths, establish themselves quickly, lead the staff team effectively and foster positive relationships with stakeholders.  

You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring that the vision for, and values of, the school are clearly articulated, shared and understood
  • Working to translate the vision and values into agreed objectives
  • Motivating and working with others to create a positive climate
  • Utilising creativity, innovation and appropriate new technologies to achieve excellence
  • Ensuring that learning is at the centre of strategic planning and resource management
  • Contributing to the development of the Island’s education system
