About the role and our team

Join our team at University College Isle of Man as a Workforce Development Leader!

Within this role, you will support the development of University College Isle of Man (UCM) staff to enable them to deliver the full range of high quality learning experiences for all students. You will also plan the delivery of individual and group CPD for staff in all Lecturing and support roles across UCM, helping them meet their objectives and the strategic objectives of UCM.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing leadership of workforce development to support achievement of organisational objectives and KPI’s
  • Establish strategic plans for UCM workforce development
  • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate workforce development programmes for individuals, where these support the role of the individual within UCM and succession planning
  • Implementing effective marketing of workforce development and CPD programmes
  • Supporting individuals in their career planning, and signposting relevant development activities
