Are you an enthusiastic and motivated radiographer with experience in mammography?
Join our hard working team, where we are dedicated to providing high quality imaging and excellent patient care.
Our team delivers the Breast Screening programme on the island within a purpose built unit in Noble’s Hospital, and we also provide cover for breast screening assessment clinics and symptomatic breast imaging alongside the multidisciplinary team.
We have two digital mammography units including breast tomosynthesis, and we perform a range of examinations and interventional procedures such as vacuum assisted biopsy.
Some of your duties will include:
- Performing all examinations to the highest quality with our adherence to the departmental protocols and procedures
- Deputising for the Superintendent Radiographer Breast screening/Mammography in her absence to ensure continuity of service delivery
- Assisting in the training and supervision of staff assigned to the unit
- Making and rearranging as necessary, appointments for assessment clinics, follow up mammography and breast screening
