Closing Date : 17/02/2017
Salary : £35,000-£40,000 Depending on Experience
Department : Contact Centre

A fantastic, brand new opportunity to join and lead a dynamic resource planning team. To be the successful applicant, you’ll be able to work independently with your team to produce high quality, accurate and timely output that you can be proud of.  Taking ownership and accountability for delegated tasks.  Your experience as a line manager will allow you to develop and coach your team, plan, prioritise and balance workloads, getting everyone working at a similar level, with common working practices across the team.

The core part of your role sees you accountable for the production of the weekly resource models.  As the owner of these, you’ll use your knowledge of Microsoft Excel to maintain existing and build new resource models, ensuring the right checks are in place such that they balance against long term plans.  Working experience of resource planning concepts, shrinkage/grossing factors will help you with this, along with knowledge of how contact centres flow, and what makes up an advisors time.

There’s the opportunity to build and maintain relationships across our multi-outsourcer/site estate, working closely with them to deliver our resource plans.  There’s plenty of scope to get involved in varied tasks and projects, from delivering the team’s inputs into the budget process, to co-ordinating resource planning elements of business wide projects, such as large scale training plans.

It’s not all about picking up existing processes and turning the handle, you’ll be here to continually review and improve the team’s processes and working practices, designing these how they work best and keeping documentation of all new and existing processes and procedures up to date.

As we’re a small team who support each other, you’ll not be afraid of pitching in to get the day-to-day job done and deputising for the Head of Resource Planning, as required.  Underpinning our ethos of working together to deliver a service to our c.1000 head estate, be that in our in-house teams or our multi-outsourcer/site estate, in the UK and international locations.

In addition, to working within a supportive team culture with a competitive salary you’ll also enjoy:

  • 24 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays) or equivalent to contracted hours.
  • Generous Staff Discount – on all our ranges including fashion, furniture, electrical appliances, toys and much more.
  • Annual profit share scheme.
  • Contributory pension scheme.
