Working within merchandise operations department within merchandising, the role is to be instrumental in delivering the stock targets of the business, including levels of stock, residue stocks, stock turn, intake planning etc. This will involve target setting and decision making support for all KPI’s relating to stock and cover levels in the N Brown Group business.  

 

As a Trainee Stock Analyst you’ll be responsible for:

  • Assist in producing departmental stock level, intake, disposal, despatch and returns forecasts.
  • Assist in the management MI that supports the forecasts and ensure that all stakeholders have access to their performance statistics.
  • Be the key coordinator and deliverer of all short term warehouse intake plans.
  • Be the key coordinator and central source of all targets and reporting that deliver the business KPI’s with regards to stock.
  • Work closely with logistics to ensure all stock related merchandising information and forecasts are produced in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist in giving merchandising input into logistics long and short term space planning.
  • Assist in management of accurate storage categories and stock classifications.
  • Undertaking and ad hoc forecasting requirements.

 

What you will need to succeed as a Supplier Data Administrator:

 

  • Highly numerate, good standard of education at GCSE level (Grade C or above in Maths, English & IT).
  • Excellent overall IT skills and interest in learning new systems.
  • A good working knowledge of Excel.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.  
  • Ability to prioritise busy workloads and adapt to changing priorities.
