As our Senior Web/digital Analyst, you will collaborate with key departments, e.g. Optimisation team, Online Marketing team and Web Development/ UX team, to provide and present data and insight to drive decision making. Taking direction from the Digital Analytics Manager, you will support projects from end to end, be proactive in problem solving and make recommendations to improve the customer/user experience.

Additional key responsibilities:

  • Make recommendations for improved online / digital performance for users
  • Be proactive in briefing out requests for information/analyses and ensure high calibre outputs are delivered on time
  • Partner and be a subject matter expert across department.
  • Make commercially sound recommendations based on analytical findings
  • Manage web analytic projects from initial analysis to implementation (covering Site Operations reporting, Multi Variant testing, Email and Customer Journey)
  • Research and implement recommendations to improve web data hygiene
  • Deliver reports and dashboards as and when required
  • Assist in the training and development of technical skills of others within the Insight Team

 

What you will need to succeed as a Customer Insight Digital Analyst:

  • Previous experience within a similar role within a commercial setting
  • Experience of engaging, influencing and managing stakeholders well
  • Excellent business partnering skills
  • Experience of managing projects from start to finish
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Expert in a web analytics tool (for example Adobe analytics, Celebrus or Google Analytics)
  • Open-minded, flexible and positive attitude with a willingness to embrace challenges and to learn
  • Strong problem solving skills are essential, along with an ability to manage a varied workload and working to tight deadlines
  • Degree / MSc qualified within a relevant discipline (Mathematics, Science, Engineering, IT or Marketing etc) is advantageous but not essential
  • Experience of analysing digital marketing campaigns highly desirable
  • Experience of SQL or Python, R or other analytical programming languages is also desirable.
  • Experience of (next generation) BI tools such as Qlikview, Tableau or Power BI is also desirable
