This is a fantastic, new opportunity for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join us at the Head Office in Manchester.

This opportunity will suit part qualified finance professionals or recent graduate with numerical background. You will support the Commercial Finance Manager in providing clear and effective commercial finance partnering to our Marketing division, as well as develop the Finance function brand across the organisation.

 

What are the main responsibilities for Commercial Finance Analyst:

  • Responsible for financial reporting and forecasting, providing quality financial analysis, insightful commentaries to the business and support to the Commercial Finance Manager
  • Specific responsibility for production of monthly management accounts for the Marketing division and preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Supports Commercial Finance Manager by championing change management; driving improvements to financial accountability across the Divisions and improving and standardising   financial processes to improve overall efficiency; identifying and contributing to business improvement opportunities

 

What do I need to succeed as Commercial Finance Analyst?

The successful candidate will be interested in pursuing a career in finance. We are looking for individuals who are working towards CIMA or ACCA or recently graduated from numeric/analytical focused degree interested in taking on specialist qualification.

Furthermore, we are looking for engaged and innovative individuals to help us transform the perception of the finance function in the business. Therefore, you will have fantastic communication skills and ability to present and involve non-financial colleagues.  

We look for candidates who can solve problems, take insightful decisions and keep their finger on the pulse of what’s happening across our business. We also expect you to show integrity, confidence and strong presentation skills. 

Due to the nature of the role, advanced Excel skills are required.
