N Brown are looking to employ a 17th Edition qualified Electrical Engineer Team Leader based at our distribution centre in Shaw. The core hours will be 7am to 3pm and 10am to 6pm alternate weeks 5 days per week, Mon-Fri but not restricted to. 

The main aim of the role is to ensure that all electrical services are 100% available at all times, and to carry out planned preventative maintenance as well as reactive repairs to buildings. Your other responsibilities will include but will not be restricted to :-

-Be responsible for the on site Facilities team

-Ensuring that All Health & Safety requirements are adhered to Legislation and Company Policies

-Respond to breakdowns in a safe and timely manner

-Manage contractors  and permits

-Communicate effectively with production with regard to breakdowns and repairs

-Work within the Facilities team on improvements and projects

-The applicant may be required to undertake work at other sites within the group

-Minor building repairs

-Required to be multi skilled, flexible and able to work  overtime if required

The suitable candidate is required to be 17th edition IEE regulations trained and be qualified to City and Guilds Level 32391 or 2394/5 Inspection and Testing is desirable. You will also be proficient within Health & Safety legislation (IOSH Qualified as a minimum). You will need to offer a high ability of flexibility and be able to work on your own as well as be a team player. You need to be computer literate , and be able to demonstrate good fault finding on electrical installations and equipment.

You will also be required to carry out basic facilities/engineering tasks. You will be required to cover absence/holidays on shift for facilities staff on site.
