We are looking for an energetic, confident and highly capable Executive Assistant to support two of our board members, CEO Angela Spindler and our new Non-Exec Chairman Matt Davies. Both Angela and Matt are personable, hugely inspirational, engaging and down-to-earth individuals who work at pace in a competitive and ever changing online retail environment, within an organisation striving for success through continuous improvement.

The right candidate will be able to demonstrate previous PA/EA experience, ideally supporting both Executive and Non-Executive Directors within a PLC environment as well as having a demonstrable ‘can do’ attitude and a natural ability to juggle multiple tasks under pressure. We are looking for someone who is calm but confident, loves what they do and is passionate about supporting a business to deliver customer service excellence.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain complex schedules, meeting invites and agendas as well as following up on any meeting actions.
  • Management and prioritisation of two busy diaries, including organisation of domestic and overseas travel and expense management
  • Support the creation of high quality presentations and reports as well as drive and action relevant item.
  • Support the delivery of key management events in the UK and overseas,  liaising with stakeholders in the wider business and 3rd party providers to drive completion to schedule and to the high standard required
  • Track and follow up information requested of others, ensuring that business updates, insights reports and presentations have the appropriate information for delivery to the business within stated timeframe.

 

Skills and experience this role requires:

  • Previous PA experience within a PLC environment is critical. Ideally within online, retail and/or fashion sector 
  • Previous experience of managing complex diaries including overseas
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the priorities with the minimum of guidance and be proactive to ensure the efficient running of the office.
  • The ability to make things happen at short notice
  • A genuine interest and understanding of the requirements and workings of a PLC Board, and the roles of both Executives and Non-Executives
  • Confidence when dealing with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of the business, with professionalism and charisma
  • High levels of integrity and discretion
  • Must be flexible and able to commit the time required to get the job done
  • Good problem-solving skills and able to work out flexible solutions.
  • Ability to work alone or in collaboration with other PA’s and colleagues
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office computer packages
