We now have two fantastic opportunites for two Product Innovation Managers to join our Product Innovation team. We are looking for two roles – one within Lingerie, Footwear, Brands and Accessories and the other within Menswear to lead and develop the Product Innovation Teams across multiple divisions to execute the Product Innovation Strategy and to embed a digital mind-set and methodology.


Key responsibilities will include:


  1. To Line Manage (lead) Product Innovation Teams recruit and select team members, set performance objectives, reviews and performance coach via regular 1-1’s, agree training and development plans.
  2. Implement, communicate and drive the Product Innovation strategy as defined by Head of Product Innovation to constantly improve the Quality, Fit and Value of products.
  3. Support Head Of in leading and directing the Product Innovators to deliver product and innovations
  4. Co-ordinate, analyse and report on the Quality, Fit performance of the products within your departments to understand customer feedback themes/trends/returns metrics to drive continuous improvements.
  5. In partnership with Head Of, analyse and refine ways of working and processes to improve efficiency, lead time and speed to market across Product Innovation dept.
  6. Communicate and engage with Heads of Buying and their teams as well as the wider Product team both internal and external including Design, Sourcing, Merch, Warehouse, Marketing, CSO, Ethical team to drive the Development & Innovation strategy forward and share best practice
  7. Co-ordinate and support the day-to-day function of the Product Innovation Teams to achieve optimum productivity
  8. To play a key role in supplier/service providers management and development and provide a key input into the sourcing strategy
  9. Deputise for Head of Product Innovation as and when required
  10. Liaise with internal partners to ensure manuals and documentation are relevant and up to date at all times.
  11. Play a key role in supplier management and development providing key input into the sourcing strategy to support Head of Product Innovation.  

Growth in Profitability – reduce returns rates due to improved Fit and Quality, Value and Customer perception with less quality issues at source, reduced sampling, reduced defects and reduced non-compliance.



What you’ll need to succeed:



  • Excellent subject matter expert for relevant products in product construction and testing, fabric knowledge, Fitting and grading.
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Leadership/Management skills
  • Demonstrate planning and organisational skills with ability to effectively and independently prioritise workload while remaining focused on tasks until their successful completion.
  • Use analytical and product insight to influence corrective actions with strong focus on continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of a wide ranging Supply base.
  • Communication skills – verbal and written – ability to communicate via variety of media with different cultures/various levels of Stakeholders at all levels with professionalism, tact, diplomacy and integrity.
  • A good appreciation of fashion/current trends/quality standards on product fit/styling/construction and innovation to product
  • IT skills – competent in word, excel and powerpoint
