We are looking for people who can merchandise our websites using best practices. This team to drive tens of millions of £s in revenue and be part of driving the success of our business. As part of this we are creating a larger team of Online Merchandising specialists to enable us to accelerate at pace.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Develop a full understanding of the online category and product data to feed in to product optimisation and category optimisation opportunities.
  • Day to day management of the product content for the Jacamo website.
  • Looking for new opportunities to develop categories across devices utilising analysis such as Google Analytics, Google Keyword Tool, Google Trends, and liaising with buying on future product ranges.
  • Ensuring all products are strategically merchandised across the site using sequencing and checking product titles, description, attributes, imagery etc highlighting any gaps and liaising with the relevant teams to resolve.
  • Using online analytics to study customers’ patterns and behaviours from landing page to checkout, understanding trends and behavioural funnels to optimise the journey and next steps.
  • Analysing onsite search behaviour to help assist in planning and ensuring products and content presented is relevant and optimised.
  • Drop Down navigation management and analysis.
  • Positioning promotions and special offers for optimum exposure to customer viewing preferences and engagement points.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Experience working in an ecommerce environment
  • Experience of web content management systems (CMS)
  • Digitally literate, with a passion and interest in mobile technology.
  • Experience in the use of digital / web analytics tools e.g. Multi variant testing tools, google analytics or app analytics solutions.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to work in a cross-functional role
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Who are we looking for?

You will have a good understanding of all aspects of marketing and eCommerce and good understanding of Buying & Merchandising processes and objectives. You will work collaboratively across departments as well as the online merchandising team to drive success and innovative ideas!
