This is a great opportunity to join the UX team at N Brown and play a pivotal role in enabling us to deliver a world class user experience across all our brands.  This role is the first of its kind at N Brown – you will be required to deliver research insights and collaborate with designers and product teams, but also to help us shape the UX research capability at N Brown.

You will be passionate about users and an advocate of their needs. You will enjoy speaking to users to reveal their needs through a variety of methods and combining this with data to give us a broad picture of the opportunities and challenges ahead.

What will you be doing as UX Researcher;

  • Responsibility for the planning and delivery of customer research at every stage of the product’s lifecycle
  • Manage the CX Measurement tool - managing receipt and evaluation of customer feedback
  • Ensure that the customer’s needs are properly understood and seriously considered throughout the product development process
  • Facilitate workshops – bringing the team together to focus on the customer problem/opportunities
  • Document and present actionable product research findings and recommendations with stakeholders throughout the business
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, product owners and marketing teams to further enhance the user journey.
  • Design quantitative and qualitative research approaches
  • Partake and employ end-user research and testing
  • Maintain working relationship and contractual arrangements with usability research agencies and participant’s suppliers
  • Define our UX research strategy and toolkit and how it all fits in with the continuously evolving product development lifecycle

What you will need to succeed;

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in UX research, statistical analysis, qualitative / quantitate analysis
  • Ability to identify key recommendations inspired by customer needs and behaviors.
  • Proven experience of successfully integrating customer research into a product design practice.
  • Understanding of user-centered design principles.
  • Strong understanding of the strengths and limitations of different research methods.
  • Excellent communication skills – ability to communicate highly detailed research concepts in a simple and straightforward manner.
  • Excellent written skills – experience of creating reports/questionnaires/interview questions
  • Experience of conducting customer interviews
  • Effective problem-solving ability.
