The role


An amazing opportunity to undertake a Digital apprenticeship at FTSE 350 listed company where you’ll gain hands on real world experience working with some of the leading ecommerce industry tools. Run in conjunction with Google, you’ll not only attend their digital garage sessions, but also complete over 130 hours of learning with Google squared on foundation digital skills.


This is an 18-month apprenticeship, where on completion you’ll receive a formal Level 3 Digital marketer qualification as well as the possibility of a full time Digital role.


What you’ll be responsible for:

Monitoring issues that have been assigned and escalated into the Ecommerce and customer experience teams via the Service desk you’ll be the initial department point of contact for website production issues, allowing you to see what it takes to run a major ecommerce operation. Monitoring and ensuring issues are allocated to the correct team or subject matter expert whilst ensuring they are prioritised and fast tracked where required will be at the heart of your role.


As well as tracking site performance, you’ll also be involved in general department admin tasks and have the opportunity to gain a working understanding of some cutting edge 3rd party business tools driving such things as personalisation.


What you will need to succeed:


  • Educated to at least A-level standard with a passion for digital and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, good organisational skills and good time management
  • Ability to work as part of a team
