If you would like to join this journey, we are looking for HR Project Manager (Mat Cover) to help us to shape the ultimate digital experience for our colleagues! You will help us deliver our programme of activities delivering technology, organisational and cultural changes across the business. Whilst we continually strive to improve our digital offering, you will also aim to improve our talent, reward and engagement strategies with the rest of the team. This role initially a 9 months maternity cover with a possible extension up to 12 months.

What you will be doing as HR Project Manager:

  • Implement the people project plan ensuring key milestones, goals and metrics are identified and delivered, whilst collaborating with the stakeholders and internal customers
  • Working alongside and engaging with a range of stakeholders including Chief People Officer, Head of People, People Business Partners, Talent, Reward, Colleague Experience teams as well as functional experts across Finance, IT, Procurement and the wider Business.
  • Manage all aspects of the People System project, including project planning, execution, timing, quality, cost and early identification of potential issues and risks ensuring stakeholders are kept informed.
  • Applying structured change management approach and methodologies, supporting the business move to the new ways of working seamlessly 
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of people systems and practices and ensuring all new legislation implication is considered, i.e. FCA, GDPR
  • Working with procurement and project leads to understand the market and manage feasibility studies into HR system solutions

 

The experience and skills you will need:

  • Understanding and experience of project management and methodologies (internally and externally), including agile principles
  • Experience of managing and leading people change and business transformation.
  • Experience of HR software project implementation
  • Organised and proactive in planning ahead even if working with ambiguity, anticipating risks even if outside core remit, focusing on the right priorities demonstrating our values
  • Strong stakeholder management, budget management and an understanding of procurement processes.
  • A blend of best practice HR knowledge, including but not exclusive to Reward, L&D, Resourcing, Talent & OD, ER & Policy
  • Experience working in an FCA environment preferred but not essential 
  • Confident with internal systems and able to use them to communicate effectively, interpret and analyse data
