We have an exciting opportunity for an Ecommerce Manager to deliver the International Ecommerce strategy for our 3 power brands in the US and Australia.You’ll manage the promotional planning process and the implementation of a coordinated promotional sales plan delivering against agreed objectives, demand and conversion targets. A key part of the role is to develop and deliver additional trading and conversion opportunities working cross-functionally with the digital and CRM teams to maximise site demand and new and repeat customer conversion.

What you’ll be responsible for as an Ecommerce Manager:

  • Creation and management of the Ecommerce Plan across all devices & user segments to deliver revenue growth
  • Work closely with the conversion rate optimisation team to maximise the conversion rate of new and existing customers
  • Oversee the execution of all brand campaigns and product launches on site to ensure maximum impact
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to maximise the brands expansion into new markets
  • Demonstrate a continuous improvement approach to the customer journey utilising creative execution, promotions and personalisation to drive improved experience and conversion
  • Report on and monitor demand and conversion metrics / performance across customer segments and device types and recommend actions to ensure performance stays on track to achieve targets
  • Work cross-functionally with the digital team to ensure that traffic objectives (category and customer) are being met and conversion opportunities are optimised
  • Creation of category plans / objectives, working closely with the product team to identify key category opportunities
  • Trade the season to maximise demand and profit against plan using the product bank, channels and traffic to optimum advantage
  • Manage the SEO agency and lead the implementation of SEO improvements on site
  • Undertake key e-business projects and represent the Ecommerce team, as required and remain up to date with technical developments within the markets and input into the ecommerce development requirements
  • Recruit, train, develop and motivate the team to deliver their objectives. Hold 1:1’s and team meetings to ensure we are meeting the targets we are set


What you’ll need to succeed as an Ecommerce Manager:

We’re looking for a commercially aware individual with broad commercial experience in ecommerce/online marketing ideally gained in a fast paced retail organisation. It’s essential to have sound campaign and project management skills and you must be highly digitally literate, with a strong interest in user experience and product conversion.


Strong communication skills are crucial, along with the ability to liaise with stakeholders and influence at management level. You should have evidence of working in a cross functional role along with the ability to lead and develop a small team
