We are looking for Payroll and Expenses Administrator to join us expanding Payroll Department. Reporting to Payroll Manager, you will be primarily responsible for processing the payroll and expenses and ensuring all transactions are processed efficiently and in a timely and accurate manner. In addition, you will offer a fantastic solution orientated front of house service to business stakeholders on payroll related queries. The role requires a well organised, flexible individual with the ability to prioritise workload whilst supporting on longer term projects which impact the area.

Daily Responsibilities as Payroll and Expenses Administrator;

  • Processing expense payments and cash advances, maintaining and reconciling in line with company policy.
  • Liaising with staff, management and third parties on payroll/expenses related queries.
  • Responsibility for calculation and payments of occupational sick pay, SSP,SMP and SFP etc.
  • Preparation of ad-hoc reports as required.
  • Maintain payroll system information and records by calculating, updating and processing data.
  • Administration and upkeep of the lunar and monthly pension schemes.
  • Upkeep of company time and attendance system.

What you will need to succeed;

  • Proven track of experience in payroll
  • Basic skills in the use of ICT especially Microsoft Excel
  • Willingness to embrace new challenges
  • Experience of dealing with pension schemes
  • Expenses and cash advance knowledge is essential
  • Experience of calculating salary adjustments based on working patterns
  • Full understanding of all legislative statutory payments
