With our Customer Experience team here at N Brown growing at rapid pace, we are and now on the lookout for a Senior Product Manager to help drive the business within this period of exciting change.   

With a focus on Product Information Management, as our Senior Product Manager you will be an expert in all things data. You will produce and implement a process to enable us to respond to customer needs and wants, more efficiently allowing a better-quality experience for our customers and colleagues across all channels. You will also be accountable for delivering an internal capability for capturing, enhancing, displaying and managing the quality of our product data & product assets.

You will achieve this through driving product strategy, roadmap, specification and execution as well as Serving data consumers and machines across the organisation.  Whilst working collaboratively with your internal customers to ensure that we are building the right process to enable the success of our data and automation ambitions.

 

Additional responsibilities as Senior Product Manager:

 

  • Understand business stakeholders, and their pain points well, and steer the team in the right direction by prioritising the most value generating products 
  • Set clear goals and KPIs for the product and periodically review all the KPIs owned by the team spanning across multiple products and provide feedback/ suggestions on improving those 
  • Handle conflicting priorities well, communicate clearly and understands how to drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong, talented and opinionated team 
  • Identify and remove impediments faced by the team by working with the Head of Product and other stakeholders and proactively flag off any risks/delays in the commitments 
  • Contribute in capability and capacity planning for Product Management, for my own Product area to ensure capacity to drive work 
  • Conduct fair performance appraisals and provide constructive feedback for my team/ individual to improve and facilitate the development of individuals in the team 
  • Collaborate with Head of Product to understand future demand and direction of my product 
  • Responsible for achieving or exceeding agreed product KPIs improvements across all the products managed by my team 
  • Perform the role of a product owner when necessary  
  • Determine Operational resource requirements to make a product successful
  • Responsible for complex/large product(s) which involve multiple internal and external stakeholders

 

What are we looking for in a Senior Product Manager?

  • Have proven success in developing an enterprise product information management system, haven taken multiple ideas (at least 1 new product/idea) from conception to go-live, through standard software product development lifecycle and got measurable success across defined KPIs 
  • Expert domain expertise in ecommerce / product information systems 
  • Strong articulation of a complex product strategy in terms of consumer and business value 
  • Efficient in stakeholder management with the ability to steer the team in the right direction by focussing the development team on value generating Products/Business priorities 
  • Thinking at a high conceptual level regarding data flow across a number of platforms (web, mobile, tablets, PC, datastores, data science tools, analytics tools) 
  • Technically competent to influence and understand the solution context and approach and aid engineering in estimating the complexity of work being requested 
  • Experience in building/ hiring, coaching a team of Product Managers
