Based in our office in the heart of Manchester’s vibrant Northern quarter an exciting opportunity has arisen within our Traditional Marketing department for an Optimisation and Testing coordinator. The Traditional segment is made up of Ambrose Wilson, Premier Man and House of Bath. We are continuing to grow in the digital space in the Traditional market and growth in this market is a key strategy in the business.

As an Optimisation and Testing coordinator you will be pivotal in helping us achieve this growth by implementing, running and maintaining a testing road map, maximising personalisation opportunities and always looking to test and enhance the onsite experience for our customer.

Your Role as Site Optimisation and Testing Co-ordinator 

  • Create and maintain a testing plan with a goal orientated approach
  • Create and implement A/B Tests with the aim to improve KPIs on site or improve working processes.
  • Work with the Web development team and Design team to brief and help build more complex tests
  • Monitor test performance during and after completion either within the testing tools inbuilt analytics or liaising with the Data Insight team.
  • Using Analytical tools such as Google analytics, measure on-site activity to identify drop off points and pain points for the customer, using this information to then help prioritise the road map and future tests
  • Based on results make recommendations to the wider team on which changes to implement or to further test
  • As well as working closely with the E-Commerce Manager you will be working proactively with the wider eCommerce team testing new functionality developed for the site by the Web development team and optimising incoming traffic from key digital marketing channels.
  • Communicate and share the testing plan across the team, discussing priorities and allowing this input to shape the priorities and focus of the plan.
  • Work closely with and support the rest of the Traditional E-Commerce team with testing requirements around campaigns, for look and feel objectives, for product objectives and towards the shared goals of improving the shopping experience online

 

Experience

  • Excellent understanding of optimisation and Testing
  • Previous experience in a similar CRO/UX role, either implementing or helping implement tests/optimisations on site
  • Experience in using CMS tools, ideally testing platforms such as Monetate, Optimizely etc.
  • Analytical and creative approach to identifying opportunities
  • A passion for digital marketing and improving the customer journey
