We’re continuing to build a motivated, thought leading, top drawer Procurement team.  We are recruiting for an IT Senior Indirect Procurement Category Manager who will support the development of a culture where everyone is cost conscious, smart spenders, looking for ways to save every day and challenge where they see waste.

What will I be responsible for as Indirect Procurement Category Manager supporting our IT Division:

  • Develop and continually review robust, forward looking IT category plans based on business need, supply market dynamics and technological advancements
  • Work with IT stakeholders to consider a variety of commercial models, providing constructive challenge to drive the most appropriate business outcome.
  • Monitor categories, sharing insights with the business and drive reviews and actions where opportunities and risks appear.
  • Work with the Commercial Management team to determine the most appropriate metrics for supplier performance and relationship management.
  • Create and lead the creation of a pipeline of initiatives to achieve or exceed savings targets
  • Lead discussions and negotiations with suppliers and partners to realise cost efficiency opportunities and negotiate commercial terms and contracts.
  • Work with Commercial Finance to ensure that tangible benefits can be tracked into the P&L and participate in reviews that monitor the deliverables providing interventions where necessary.
  • Manage on demand procurement partners, giving clear direction and ensuring agreed measures and outputs are delivered.

We are looking for a driven and passionate individual with experience of managing a fast-paced IT category, delivering the right solutions and developing relationships with key stakeholders! You will have outstanding negotiation, influencing and relationship building skills and should be able to demonstrate an action orientated, innovative approach that alongside great commercial acumen, delivers results!
