Working across our impressive Head Office and Logistic sites for our globally recognised brands, the Supply Chain Manager (Partnerships) will be the key appointee for N Brown in developing relationships with key supply chain players, freight forwarders, refurbishers, local import/export regimes across both international markets and UK to dictate and manage a bespoke process core to the N Brown product flow.

As our Supply Chain Manager (Partnerships) you will be pivotal in understanding the Partnership business requirements and will translate these into effective, efficient, economical, and robust processes and solutions, to support compliant and hassle-free engagement with the contracted partners.

This is an incredible opportunity for a customer centric, well experienced and well connected Supply Chain professional with a successful track record of delivering supply chain efficiency through innovative and bespoke solutions.

What else you’ll be responsible for:

  • Lead the Partnership specific supply chain processes, whilst continually considering the impact and opportunities to the established core business processes
  • Understand the Partnership business requirements and translate these into effective, efficient, economical, and robust processes and solutions
  • Outline and implement the plans for the operational and strategic needs of the Partnership supply chains for 12-month horizons, whilst considering the longer-term vision
  • Establish origin, forwarding, UK and destination networks to support the specific requirements of N Brown Partners
  • Deliver supply chain efficiency solutions via collaboration with the Product and Logistics Teams as well as freight forwarders, third party consultants and suppliers
  • Understand and communicate the specific import / export requirements from source to destination country and advising the necessary steps to take to comply with international customs regimes
  • Delivering excellent customer service metrics, demonstrated by OTIF, whilst managing freight forwarder performance to cost and required by dates
  • Proactive and collaborative measurement and controls for speed of service, losses and fraud prevention.
  • Continual engagement with the Procurement Team to support commercial arrangements and negotiations in line with business and regulatory requirements
  • Establish and maintain strong cross-functional relationships at the appropriate levels, to influence process improvement and cost reduction opportunities, and better support change management
  • Consider the ethical and ecological effects of supplier operations and where possible influence improvements


What we need from you:

  • A relevant degree/ qualification within the Supply Chain industry is ideal but not essential
  • Proven and current global knowledge of the supply chain landscape, an understanding of the various market cultures, operations and best practices.
  • Detailed knowledge of freight movement efficiencies, and the capabilities to identify consolidation and ordering and flow efficiency opportunities
  • A proven track record in leadership, management and commercial negotiating skills
  • Demonstrable level of competence and capabilities to manage, lead and measure supply chain processes.
  • To demonstrate the requisite level of academic, professional and legislative knowledge of Global Customs and practices and to guarantee all legal undertakings are met, using safe and efficient methods.
  • Extensive experience within a similar role and breadth and knowledge on market conditions and cultures
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels
  • Seasoned traveller open to visiting current sourcing and destination locations and establishing new areas to meet the needs of the Partnerships strategy
  • Project planning, organisational and problem-solving skills with a proven track record in setting an delivering personal objectives within agreed timescales
