You will demonstrate vision and ability to take data and apply highly effective analytical methodologies to drive useful Digital insights for the Marketing team. Ideally you will have a statistical background, be comfortable with segmentation and modelling techniques and be extremely well versed in Digital Analytics tools

In your role as market and strategy analyst you will support the business strategy and customer insight with data requirements.  This covers use of external market data via Kantar and the British Retail Consortium, competitor data via Editd and internal business data.

Your role as marketing analyst:

  • Support relationships with external agencies supplying market and competitor data
  • Empower and partner with the strategy & insight teams to ensure timely, comprehensive and insightful information that delivers business impact
  • Work across Marketing (and other divisions) to champion, influence and exploit the agenda for Customer Analytics
  • Contribute to the research for assessment, introduction and rollout of tools and technology platforms for analytics, automation, insights and visualization
  • Conduct research and development on the latest tools & techniques; whilst improving on current methods and introducing new ways of sourcing data
  • Conduct research and adopt best practices in establishing business analytics platforms, systems and approaches


You will succeed in this role through requirements gathering, provision of agile analytics and providing consultancy on what the art of the possible is with Insight. 

You will be closely aligned with the strategy insight and planning teams, and to live and breathe their specific goals and objectives.  You will support and undertake analysis and provide insight and crucially partner with the rest of Customer Analytics to involve individuals on a tactical and project-basis.
