We now wish to drive the growth of our Fashionworld brand, to sharpen the positioning to get strong traction with our current and future customers, to build our online business to meet the needs and match the shopping patterns of this customer.  We are excited to strengthen the team by recruiting a customer obsessed Online Merchandising superstar to work within the ecommerce team!

This role as Online Merchandising Coordinator plays a key role in driving forward the online approach for merchandising and product reporting to the eCommerce Manager. You will have strong understanding of the importance of product and visual merchandising and the impact on the customer experience, demonstrating a strong sense of customer focus and a passion for product and online selling.

We have made significant progress in modernising the product offer and improving the quality of the product, we have also grown the business by growing online – mobile is leading this with strong year on year growth.

Your role as Online Merchandising Coordinator here at N Brown:

  • Work closely with the Fashion World Team to manage the online product experience including launching new phases of products, product sequencing strategies and techniques, ensure the product experience effectively reflects the commercial goals of the online store – and ensure the current goals and challenges of Fashion World can be replicated on the Hybris platform
  • Use data to Provide online searchandising insight to maximising the accuracy and commerciality of the search results.
  • Develop relationships and work closely with the Buying & Merchandising teams to plan product promotions, develop new categories and respond to B&M requirements and objectives and report results.
  • Work across teams to input in to the promotional plan for product related activity, maximising the product opportunity at the right time and feeding into all campaigns and plans across all channels
  • Provide insight on average order value and conversion including developing tactics for upsell and cross-sell, product recommendations
  • Use data on product performance on-site to identify opportunities to drive the product online including category and product bounce rate, conversion rate and AOV and AIV.
  • Provide insight on what customers are searching for to help shape different product and promotional approaches across each brand.
  • Recruit, train, develop and motivate the Online Merchandising Executives to deliver their objectives, helping to establish strategies, identify opportunities, seek out efficiencies
