We’re looking for an ambassador for the people profession to work within our People Team at our fast-paced office in Manchester’s Northern Quarter. If you’re hungry to learn about all aspects of People and Talent; and if you’re keen to progress your career - then we’ll give you the support to do exactly that. Reporting to our Future Talent Lead you’ll complete a 16-18-month business administration apprenticeship where you’ll take everything you learn from your studies and apply it directly to your role.

We look for apprentices who:

  • Demonstrate a real passion and motivation to work in a People (HR) role.
  • have fantastic organisational and administration skills with razor-sharp attention to detail
  • are comfortable and confident to communicate with people from all levels of the business.
  • have plenty of initiative to problem solve with a real ‘can do’ attitude and the determination to deliver a high standard of service to our people
  • are up for a challenge and can use their own initiative to solve problems,

 

What the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • providing essential administrative and project support to our People Team across a wide range of exciting areas of expertise including learning, recruitment and talent development to ensure that our people receive awesome experiences that enable them to bring their best selves to work.
  • Create and distribute monthly Future Talent progress reports
  • Work with our learning, university and education partners to coordinate and facilitate Future Talent experiences both internally and externally
  • Working with our Colleague Experience team to market and promote our Future Talent brand
  • Collaborate with the Future Talent Lead to develop learning journeys that support behavioural and technical talent development

What we will give you?

  • Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship with the chance to progress onto a higher-level apprenticeship on completion

Our apprenticeship roles offer a number of training and mentoring opportunities to support your development and give you skills to succeed, so as a minimum we simply ask that you are keen and ready to learn, however it would be advantageous if you have the following:

 

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Interested in a long term career within the People profession
  • GCSE Maths and English A-C/4-9
